Time Flies!!!

Sorry it's been awhile since we have posted, Darya has been keeping Mommy and Daddy very busy!
We are happy to report that Darya started walking on August 28th, she is just so cute !
Everything has been going so well with her, we are just so lucky. She has the sweetest little temperment. Always smiling ! We has to Darya proof everything now that she is walking and can get into all the drawers that are higher up and she tries to open the fridge.
She has started saying a few words such as Momma, DaDa , cat and dog. She also loves books so much when we read them to her. ( especially Goodnight Moon) She likes to point at all the objects in the pictures. We've made lot's of friends in the community and go to playgroups and get together with all our other friends kids ect...Darya just loves playing with them all !
She hasn't gained much weight since she's been back ( she's almost 19 lbs for almost 17 months old, but the doctors assure us she seems healthy and may just be a thin girl as she was premature) Her favorite foods are omelets, cheese, yogurt, chicken, turkey and pasta.
She did have a little bit of a rough time getting used to be strapped into things such as high chairs, strollers and car seats since they didn't use these in Kaz, but she is making strides and cries a little less day by day. She is also much better with receiving affection and now loves to cuddle and kiss us. She buries her head into our shoulders and wraps her arms around us and squeezes us ! It's so cute.
Well off to put the munchin to bed, hope all is well with everyone else!!

So glad to read an update! It sounds like Darya is such a doll. :) Our little girl (She is 16 months) was 20lbs at her 15 month appointment so not too off from Darya and she was full term. That is so great Darya is walking! Isn't it so much fun! You'll have to get ice skates on her soon. ;)

Take care!
Sarah
