Sorry we haven't written in awhile, we got home 5 days ago and were exhausted and trying to catch up to the time change with Darya. She is doing really well and settling in to her new life in Canada....hope to keep you posted with more news soon, but thought we would let you know we made it back!

Just want to say congratulations, and glad that court and the waiting period went smoothly. Have looked for your blog from time to time since I sent you an e-mail after finding it the first time. In some way it's like people with children from Petropavlovsk are connected, though we'll probably never meet.
If you're experiencing it as I did, Kim, you're probably feeling very strange after being away for so long, as well as all the changes parenthood brings. After 6 weeks, I was really beginning to feel part of life in Petropavlovsk, and liked many things about it very much, and took a couple of months to adjust to being home.
